Tracy – with her sharp instincts – begins to notice something is wrong. She secretly follows and discovers contradictory details in Carl’s words. In a climax, Tracy decides to confront him directly. “Do you think I’m stupid enough not to realize?” – that cold sentence makes Carl feel guilty.

Not stopping there, Kit also secretly investigates. Kit has a shady past, but this time he is determined to expose Carl’s true colors. The pieces of evidence are slowly coming together, and Carl finds himself in a pincer movement. Caught between Tracy and Kit, he risks losing everything – his reputation, his job, and even his freedom.

Meanwhile, Todd – a controversial figure – makes a surprising move. When he learns that Theo is desperate to gain access to his children, Todd decides to help. With his experience in legal matters and complicated relationships, Todd becomes Theo’s unexpected support.
