Days Of Our Lives Spoiler: Sarah discovers Chanel’s pregnancy, Johnny is shocked amidst EJ’s disappearance: good news turns into suffocating pressure.
This week’s Salem doesn’t allow anyone to enjoy good news in a normal way.
Chanel discovers her pregnancy under anything but “poetic” circumstances, because Sarah is the one who knows first.
And in Days, when a pregnancy secret is known by someone else, it always creates a feeling of losing the right to tell one’s own story.
Chanel is not only confused by her changing body, but also by the possibility of everything being revealed in ways she can’t control.

Sarah is in a difficult position: knowing but not saying is wrong, but saying it would ruin the moment.
The most painful part is that Johnny receives this news right when his head is already spinning from too many things. EJ is missing, the DiMera household is in chaos, the catacombs are like a horror movie, and all of Johnny’s nerves are stretched to the limit. So when Sarah or someone else accidentally blurts it out, Johnny will be completely stunned. It wasn’t that he didn’t want children, but that he didn’t know if he was “safe” enough to welcome a baby while his whole family was being targeted.

Chanel wasn’t easy either. She was strong, fiery, and disliked being controlled. But pregnancy forced her to confront very instinctive fears: fear of loss, fear of failure, fear of making a mistake. And when she looked at Johnny, she both wanted to lean on him and feared he would react by running away. Because Johnny tended to shoulder everything himself, and when overwhelmed, he easily pushed others aside to “handle things himself.” If Johnny pushed Chanel away at this moment, Chanel would be terribly hurt.
