Just hearing the word “shocking” tells you Days is preparing a twist that could shatter all of the audience’s assumptions.

And from here, the name is called out instinctively: Stefano DiMera. Salem’s Phoenix. The one who, no matter how many times he dies, always finds a way to return. The one whose name alone makes all conspiracies seem more plausible, because Stefano was once a symbol of the idea that nothing truly ends. The skeleton appears just as DiMera is kidnapped, the lab is under investigation, and the mysterious “orders” are still running. It makes one wonder: is this proof that Stefano is gone for good, or is this a bait to make people think so?

What makes this plot terrifying is that it could reverse the roles of each character. If the skeleton isn’t Stefano, it means someone else was buried there and the secret was kept for too long.
