While everyone was celebrating, Sophia Choi – the cunning villain – was carrying out a crazy plan right in the middle of Bayview psychiatric hospital.

No one suspected that after months of feigning amnesia, Sophia had actually meticulously planned her escape.

Sophia used Rachel Black – a young, psychologically vulnerable woman – as her key pawn.

She pretended to be friendly, telling touching stories about her “abandoned childhood” to win Rachel’s favor, gradually drawing her into a dangerous game.

Sophia concocted a scenario: pretending Rachel helped her “recover her memories,” but in reality, she was preparing for a patient swap to escape.

The climax occurs when Sophia secretly disables Bayview’s security system, causing the cameras to record images of “two female patients sleeping in the room” – while in fact, one of them had disappeared. Rachel found out too late, but Sophia had already taken a taxi and left Salem in the pouring rain that night.

Brady, upon hearing that his daughter had been exploited, was furious and vowed to “turn the whole city upside down” to get Sophia back. The episode ends with Sophia looking out the window and giving a wry smile: “Christmas? To me, it’s just the beginning of the hunting season.”
