Weatherfield has never been in such chaos. In a tense turn of events, Carla Connor, the cool icon of Coronation Street, becomes the victim of a horrific kidnapping orchestrated by Becky Swain – Lisa Swain’s ex-wife.

The story begins with Carla ending her relationship with Lisa, but little did she know that this breakup would trigger Becky’s uncontrollable jealousy, a jealousy so intense she’s obsessed with Lisa.

Becky had long been observing Carla’s every move, recording her every action, and believed she was the cause of her marriage’s breakdown.

In a frenzy, Becky plots to lure Lisa to her house for a “reconciliation talk,” then, while Lisa is showering, kidnaps Carla – tying her up in a cold, enclosed room behind an abandoned garment factory.

When Lisa leaves, Carla wakes up in a panic, gagged and bound, only able to watch her phone fall out of reach.

The most painful part? Lisa – who once deeply loved Carla – unknowingly spent the night with Becky, unaware that her ex-lover was being psychologically tortured nearby.

The next morning, when Carla tries to make noise to call for help, Becky becomes even more brutal, leaving fans breathless at the rare cruelty seen on ITV. At the end of the episode, Kit unexpectedly discovers a clue to Carla’s location, opening up a breathtaking rescue mission that viewers will surely be glued to.
