Emmerdale Spoiler: “Aaron Dingle fires a gun, Robert Sugden chases after him – A bloody love affair between the Dales ignites”
If anyone thought the traffic accident was the only highlight of Emmerdale 2026, they were wrong.
The love story between Aaron Dingle, Robert Sugden, and John Sugden continues to explode into a series of violent, breathtakingly tense dramas.
Aaron, in a fit of rage, forces John to drive to Hotten to surrender to the police, believing John is the reason for his betrayal and hurt.
But at that moment, Robert – his former lover, who still deeply loves him – appears to stop him.

The chase scene on the rain-soaked road, amidst the wailing sirens of the police, is one of the most dramatic segments to date. Aaron cries and screams in despair, his gun trembling in his hand. Robert pleads with him to stop, saying, “If you do this, you’ll lose everything – including yourself.” But Aaron is too hurt, too angry to listen. The subsequent gunshots in the darkness left the audience stunned.

According to Danny Miller (the actor who plays Aaron), in an interview he “accidentally let slip” that Aaron “will survive Corriedale,” although ITV hasn’t confirmed this. This statement left fans both relieved and worried for the others – especially Robert and John, who might pay with their lives. “Aaron is an immortal character, but after Corriedale, he’ll never be the same again,” a crew member told Digital Spy.
