Days Of Our Lives Spoiler: Dimitri Confronts Gwen – A Fierce Battle of Revenge Erupts in Salem Cathedral
If miracles bring tears, then the hatred between Dimitri von Leuschner and Gwen Rizczech ignites fire.
In the latest episode, Salem is shaken when Dimitri unexpectedly appears at St. Luke’s Church, where Gwen is attending a memorial service.
All the viewers hold their breath as he walks in, his eyes icy cold, and points directly at her in the crowd: “You ruined my life!”
The atmosphere freezes.

Gwen stands speechless, while Leo – their close friend who once loved both of them – tries to intervene but to no avail. Dimitri unleashes his pent-up anger, recounting how Gwen betrayed him, causing him to lose everything: love, reputation, and inheritance. His words are like daggers; each word makes Gwen tremble, trying to remain calm but her hands clenching tightly.
As Dimitri approached, Leo unexpectedly stepped between them. “Enough, Dimitri! You killed a part of me when you came back, and now you want to kill someone else?” Leo shouted. The church fell silent. Dimitri looked at Leo, a fleeting look of pity in his eyes, but then turned away. The scene of the three – a hateful enemy, a torn soul, a person yearning for peace – left viewers breathless.

When Dimitri left, Gwen collapsed, tears streaming down her face. She confessed to Leo that what Dimitri had said was partly true – she had betrayed him to save herself, and now she was paying the price. In the final scene, Gwen sat alone in the church, candlelight illuminating her guilt-ridden face, whispering, “I thought I was doing the right thing, but… I’ve only ruined everything.” A confession as light as the wind, yet enough to make all of Salem question: Can the past ever truly let go of a person when they themselves cannot forgive?
