In the new week of Coronation Street, viewers will have to hold their breath to witness one of the biggest turning points: Abi Webster decides to break up with Kevin, even though he has just overcome his cancer battle with optimism.

It all started when Abi asked Carl about Tracy.

Carl insisted that he was only complaining to make Tracy feel sorry for him, causing her to back off.

But the harsh truth was quickly revealed: it was Carl who had his shop destroyed and even threatened to harm Tracy’s father.

Meanwhile, Kevin was overjoyed when the doctor confirmed that his illness was behind him. He dreamed of a future with Abi, of growing old together, fixing old cars together. However, in those bright eyes of hope, Abi only felt her conscience tormented. She can no longer live a double life, being sweet to her husband while secretly having an affair with her lover.

Back home, Kevin expresses his desire to build a long-term future, while Abi chokes out: “I think we should break up.” The confession drops like a bomb, leaving Kevin speechless. He confides in Tyrone, admitting that he suspects Abi of having an affair with Carl. The two men’s stories boil down to a common sense of helplessness: a feeling of betrayal of trust, which neither has enough evidence to confirm.
