Emmerdale Spoiler: John’s Dark Plan to Trap Aaron – The Deadly Whisky Twist

In the upcoming episodes of Emmerdale, viewers are about to witness shocking developments as John, once seen as Aaron’s “safe haven,” reveals a much darker side. Consumed by jealousy and the fear of losing Aaron to Robert, John embarks on a sinister plan to manipulate and control his husband — no matter the cost.

This marks a dramatic turning point in the ongoing love triangle between Robert, Aaron, and John, while also cementing John’s place as one of the village’s most dangerous new villains.

 When Jealousy Turns Into Obsession

After sensing subtle changes in Aaron — particularly his hesitation following Robert’s unexpected kiss — John begins to feel his position slipping. Instead of addressing his insecurities through honesty, John lets jealousy take over.

In his mind, Aaron can never truly be his if Robert still lingers in Aaron’s heart. And so, John hatches a chilling plan: make Aaron dependent on him, by any means necessary.

The Spiked Whisky – Step One of the Plan

In a tense scene, John casually suggests that he and Aaron share a drink together to unwind. To Aaron, it seems innocent enough. But viewers know the truth: John has already  spiked the whisky with sedatives.

When Aaron takes his first glass, he quickly begins to feel lightheaded. John, watching closely, is delighted to see the effects set in so quickly. A sinister smile crosses his face — a chilling reminder that the man Aaron once trusted has now crossed a dangerous line.

Aaron Falls Deeper Into the Trap

As Aaron struggles with the drowsiness from his first drink, John excuses himself, claiming he needs to fetch some firewood. This leaves Aaron alone in the cabin.

Still foggy and unaware of what’s happening, Aaron unknowingly pours himself another glass of the laced whisky. With each sip, he unwittingly tightens the chains John has placed around him.

For viewers, it’s a heartbreaking moment — Aaron, who has endured so much pain in his past, is once again being victimized by someone he trusted.
