Emmerdale Spoiler: Victoria Mistrusts John – The Shady Identity That Shakes Emmerdale
Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) thought she had found a new relative when she met John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) at his mother Barbara’s funeral.
By a strange coincidence, everyone easily believed that John was Jack Sugden’s “illegitimate son”, because Barbara had a brief relationship with Jack in 1988.
Without verification, without DNA, with just a few words, Victoria accepted John as part of the family.
But it was that easygoingness that sowed the seeds of doubt.
John never showed any interest in Sugden’s roots, and no one in the family really confirmed his bloodline. He entered the village with a cold demeanor, not caring about his roots, but only looking for a place in everyone’s love life.
From there, a series of shady details gradually appeared: John often interfered in Aaron Dingle’s (Danny Miller) personal affairs, reacted extremely to Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) – a person he had never met. The excessive hatred made the audience wonder: is John not a Sugden at all, but just took advantage of that name to get into Emmerdale village?
If this hypothesis becomes true, Victoria will be the most hurt person, because she put her trust in the wrong place. Emmerdale village, which is used to unexpected twists, can prepare for a shocking expose.
