Emmerdale Spoiler: Caleb Milligan is cornered – Becoming an unwilling accomplice of a murderer

If John sows nightmares, Caleb Milligan (William Ash) falls into an unprecedented dilemma.

At the warehouse, he confronts John directly and is immediately pulled into a spiral of guilt.

John offers a cruel deal: either Caleb helps him escape, or Ruby (Beth Cordingly) – Caleb’s wife – will have to pay with her life.

The reason is because John is the one who disposed of the body of Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day) – the man Ruby killed in a fit of rage after raping her.

This terrible secret is known only to John. If he reveals where the body is buried, Ruby will certainly be arrested for murder.

Caleb is torn between two choices: protecting justice for Nate – who was murdered by John, or saving Ruby from the law. Although he understands that helping John means freeing the murderer, Caleb still trembles under the pressure. “You want Ruby to live in peace, right? Then help me get out of here,” John smirked, turning Caleb into a hostage in a terrible game of cards.

The Emmerdale audience will surely be shocked to see a man as strong as Caleb being pushed to the end. In the eyes of the villagers, if the truth is revealed, Caleb will be no different from a traitor. But in his heart, it is a fierce internal war between love and conscience.
