Caleb Milligan is being pushed to the brink of suffocation by John Sugden’s cruel ultimatum.

John wants Caleb to help him escape from England, or else the whole truth about Anthony Fox’s death will be revealed – and with it the risk of Caleb’s wife, Ruby, going to jail.

Caleb has no way back, so he has to nod.

Early in the morning, Caleb tiptoes out of Mill Cottage, thinking Ruby is still asleep.

He plans to quietly begin his dangerous mission: preparing John’s escape by truck to Rotterdam. But before the plan can start, Ruby catches her husband sneaking around. She crosses her arms over her chest, her eyes sharp, putting Caleb in a difficult position: “What else are you hiding from me?”

Caleb is confused, making an excuse that he has urgent business at the bus station. But Ruby is not easily fooled, especially when she is so used to Caleb hiding things. In her eyes, her husband was like a stranger, carrying a mountain of secrets.

Meanwhile, at the truck stop, Caleb tried to execute the plan. He knew John would hide in the trunk, and he would just drive to the meeting point. But things got more complicated when Jai Sharma appeared. With his curious nature, Jai was lurking everywhere, his eyes seemed to scrutinize every action. Caleb felt his heart pounding, if Jai discovered even one flaw, the whole plan – and Ruby’s safety – would fall apart.
