Next week, Coronation Street promises to explode with drama as a shocking secret about her pregnancy is suddenly exposed, dragging the entire Platt family into a spiral of suspicion, confusion and controversy.

Viewers will surely be unable to take their eyes off the screen when a mysterious pregnancy test appears, raising the big question: Who is really pregnant on the cobblestone streets?

It all starts out quite “harmlessly”, when Lily Platt (Grace Ashcroft-Gardner) complains to her father – David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) – that she has a stomachache.

But David, who is all too familiar with pretending to be sick to skip school, immediately brushes it off and forces his daughter to go to school.

Not only that, David also shows his annoyance when telling his sister Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) that Lily has been arguing with a boyfriend recently, even planning to skip school just to see him. This makes Sarah start to worry, sensing that something is wrong.

The drama really breaks out when David accidentally catches Carla Connor (Alison King) throwing trash in his house’s bin. At first, he is annoyed because he thinks his new neighbor is too “rude”. Sarah accidentally discovers the true owner of the pregnancy test over the weekend, but the news only adds to the tension. David, despite trying to act strong, can’t hide his shock as the truth comes out. The question is: can they keep this a secret within the family, or will Coronation Street be rocked by the scandal again?
