Emmerdale Spoiler: Lewis ran away in the rain, Vinny cried in the Emmerdale field – the broken love story shocked fans!

This week’s Emmerdale atmosphere seemed to be immersed in a storm of emotions, when the relationship between Lewis Barton and Vinny Dingle officially broke down in a tearful night.

The seemingly gentle, innocent love story between two young men now turned into a tragedy when suspicion, hurt and misunderstanding took over.

According to the latest trailer, Lewis – who once opened his heart to Vinny – began to feel suffocated.

He was afraid of being hurt again after the shock of the past, and gradually became distant.

Meanwhile, Vinny, with a sincere heart, tried to keep in touch, constantly texting, waiting at the old cafe – where they used to laugh and joke over hot milk tea. But Lewis did not appear. At night, when Vinny was about to return, he saw Lewis standing by the field, the light shining on his rain-soaked face – and that was the last time they looked at each other in silence.

“I can’t keep pretending that everything is normal anymore,” Lewis said, his voice trembling. “You want to be with me, but I don’t want to love you and then lose you like I did before.” The words were like a knife stabbing Vinny in the heart. He burst into tears, rushed to hold Lewis’s hand, but the other just shook his head and turned away in the gray rain.

An insider revealed that the scene took two consecutive nights to complete, in weather of just 4 degrees Celsius. Actor Bradley Riches (Lewis) even had to wrap himself in a blanket between takes because of the cold, but he was still determined to make the hug scene with Vinny as real as possible. “We want the audience to believe that Lewis really loves, but is more afraid than loving,” he shared.
