Coronation Street Spoiler: Becky Rises – Carla Fears Losing Lisa: The Rovers Battle
Carla Connor is in for an unexpected shock: Becky Swain – who was once thought dead – suddenly reappears, casting doubt on her relationship with Lisa.
Becky’s return is not a harmless appearance.
Carla has admitted to Lisa that she has just sold The Rovers Return to a “mysterious” buyer named Ben.
But the thing is: Ben is secretly engaged to Eva Price – a former rival of Carla’s.

Carla is already worried about leaving Lisa alone with Becky – she doesn’t know what Becky’s true spirit is, what kind of plot is behind it. In a tense moment, Lisa asks Carla if she trusts her, and Carla has to admit that she is very afraid of losing her current partner. Lisa responds with a reassuring, fragile statement: “I love you, and Becky has no intention of coming back to ruin us.”
Meanwhile, Becky seems to be trying to be harmonious. Lisa’s daughter Betsy has invited her to model for her university design project, and Lisa, naturally cheerful, has joined in. What seemed like a peaceful scene of the three laughing in front of the camera turns into a deadly attack.

Betsy videos it and posts it on social media – which makes Becky panic that people will recognize her. Suddenly the pressure is on: Becky is drawn into the scrutiny, while Carla feels the threat Becky poses.
That night, Betsy stays out too long and is arrested. While she sits in her cell, she is accused of damaging a police car, resisting arrest, and assaulting DI Costello – charges that shake both Lisa and Becky. DI Costello then warns Becky that if she doesn’t “disappear again”, the consequences for Betsy will be even more severe.
