According to a post circulating on the Celebrity Manchester fanpage, a series of fans “spotted” a script error right in the middle of the climax of the ceremony.

Specifically, while Bernie was shouting “I can’t pretend anymore!”, her wedding dress suddenly… changed style after only 5 seconds of the scene transition.

Some others also pointed out that the wall clock behind jumped back 15 minutes – while the scene was still edited seamlessly.

The Coronation Street fan community immediately exploded. Many joked that “even the director couldn’t stand the drama and had to go back to the timeline,” while others thought it was a “hidden sign” that the wedding was just an illusion or a flashback of the character.

Interestingly, instead of annoying the audience, this error made the episode… more viral than ever. The phrase “Bernie’s Wedding Fail” climbed to the top of UK Twitter trends just a few hours after airing. ITV also quickly responded by “lightly teasing” the audience: “Who knows, maybe Bernie himself wants to edit the past a little bit.”

Although it was just a technical error, it accidentally made fans even more curious: was this a hint for an upcoming “twist”? Was the entire chaotic wedding just a dream — or a distorted memory from someone struggling between reality and fantasy?
