Todd Grimshaw, once praised as a calm and devoted man, is facing a storm of suspicion that threatens to completely destroy his relationship with Asha Alahan.

In the upcoming episodes of Coronation Street, Todd discovers that Asha is regularly receiving messages from someone mysteriously named “X” – and from there, a chain of misunderstandings, jealousy, and hurt begins to spread like an oil slick in his heart.

Todd tries to keep his cool at first.

He doesn’t want to be a controlling person, and he doesn’t want Asha to think he lacks trust.

But things spiral out of control when one night, Todd accidentally sees Asha holding her phone in the dark, smiling, the light of the screen reflecting off her face. He asks, and she lies: “It’s just a work message.” That simple sentence has kept Todd up at night. From a gentle lover, Todd becomes a silent stalker – he records every hour Asha leaves the house, every unusual call, every time she lies, even about the smallest things.

The climax of suspicion comes when Todd discovers that Asha has deleted an old text message. He doesn’t know that it was just a harmless advertisement, but in Todd’s mind, everything is tinged with betrayal. When he confides in his best friends, they advise him to confront her directly instead of silently tormenting himself. So Todd chooses to be straightforward – but instead of venting, the conversation turns into a heated argument. “Don’t you trust me?” – Asha bursts into tears. “It’s not that I don’t trust you, I just don’t trust the way you hide things,” Todd replies, his voice choked.
