Coronation Street Spoiler: Billy collapses or rises – The shock of the person you love passing away

Billy Mayhew used to be strong, always knowing how to lift others up. But when Paul left, he himself became the one who collapsed.

Everything around Billy seemed to collapse: the familiar house now became cold, every object evoked happy memories.

Paul’s shirt still had the old scent, the unwashed coffee cup, the picture on the wall now became a cut in his heart.

Billy fell into a state of silence, no longer had faith, did not want to eat, did not want to go out.

His relatives tried to pull him out of the abyss, but it seemed like nothing could replace Paul. The scene where Billy sat alone in the dark, holding the old phone, listening to Paul’s last text message made the audience choke up. He moved his lips: “I wish I had arrived in time…”

But then, in despair, Billy began to dream of Paul. The dreams were unclear whether they were real or fake, when Paul smiled and said, “You have to keep living.” That dream could be the turning point that brings Billy back to the light. From his grief, he chooses action – joining a campaign to help people with MND, telling Paul’s story to spread hope.
