Along with the heartbreaking love story, Emmerdale drops another drama bombshell: Cain Dingle suspects John is hiding a case.

In the new episode, Cain receives an anonymous text message: “Want to know who’s really lying?

Meet me at the old warehouse after midnight.”

When Cain arrives, the person waiting for him is John – his face cold, holding a thick file.

John says slowly: “I know you’re digging, but there are things you shouldn’t know.” Cain curls his lips: “So tell me – what are you afraid of?”

The two look at each other, the atmosphere is thick. John throws the file to the ground – inside are papers related to Owen, who was wrongly accused. Cain bends down to pick it up, eyes wide: “You framed him?” John replies: “I just did what needed to be done to keep things quiet.”
