A major contract is on the brink of collapse, and suspicion falls on an internal employee.

Carla’s longtime supporter, Peter Barlow, begins to suspect Roy Cropper – after he discovers Roy had accessed her computer last night.

Roy counters: “I was just checking the plans, not sending any emails.”

Tensions escalate when Carla receives a call from a partner saying they’ve received word that “Carla is willing to sell out the company for personal gain.” Peter panics, Roy is furious, and Carla is devastated. “Someone is trying to destroy me,” she says, “and they’re right in our midst.”

As suspicions spread, the Underworld factory turns into a battlefield. Roy leaves, Peter drinks in despair, and Carla looks out the window – her eyes foreboding another storm to come.
