Coronation Street Spoiler: Carl is ostracized – is he the villain or the victim in the Webster tragedy?
After the truth about his affair was exposed, Carl Webster officially became the “villain” of Coronation Street.
People avoided him, colleagues shunned him, and even close friends were afraid to look him in the eye.
Carl tried to justify that everything was just an “emotional accident”, that Abi came to him when she felt lonely, but no one accepted that explanation.
Kevin coldly declared: “From now on, you are no longer my brother.”

That abandonment drove Carl deeper into alcoholism. There was a scene where he sat alone in the old garage, looking at a family photo of three – Kevin, Abi, Carl – and cried. He wanted to make amends, but all doors were closed.

Rumors suggest that in the next episodes, Carl may leave Weatherfield for a while to “escape” public opinion, or even fall into a state of self-destruction. Will this tragedy stop here, or will it lead to a new series of mistakes?
