Abi Webster – once considered the “soft heart” of Coronation Street – is now falling into a bottomless abyss.

From a mother who always struggled to rebuild her life, she shocked the audience when she embarked on a series of new mistakes: having an affair with her brother-in-law Carl, lying to her husband Kevin and falling into a humiliating deepfake scandal.

The episode opened with shock: Kevin discovered the truth about the illicit relationship between Abi and Carl.

The scene of him throwing a broken cup in the kitchen, his voice hoarse with anger, created an unprecedented suffocating atmosphere in the Webster family.

Kevin’s sister Debbie trembled when she learned that her sister-in-law had betrayed the family’s trust. But instead of crying and begging for forgiveness, Abi remained silent. Her eyes were empty, both scared and determined, as if preparing for a reckless action.

Unable to bear the pressure, Abi rushed out of the house, carrying a few items and… the keys to a strange car parked on the street.

It was a drizzling night. Slow-motion footage showed Abi sitting behind the wheel, her hands shaking, tears mingling with the sound of falling rain.
