Coronation Street Spoiler: “Becky returns from the dead” – the secret that brought Weatherfield to its knees
It seemed like just a rumor, but Coronation Street shocked viewers this week when Becky Swain suddenly appeared at house number 6 – where Lisa and her daughter Betsy were living, after many years of thinking she was dead.
Becky, who was believed to have died in an accident, now emerged from the darkness, intact, strong and… full of meaning.
The scene of Becky standing in the middle of the living room, her eyes sparkling as she looked at Lisa – the wife she thought was dead – made the audience shiver.
Lisa was stunned, her hands shaking, while Betsy burst into tears, both scared and happy.

This “rebirth” not only turned all memories upside down but also revealed a terrible secret: someone had staged Becky’s death.
Becky said she was forced to leave Weatherfield, threatened and followed for many years in Alicante. She only returns when she realizes that Betsy – her 18-year-old daughter – is being falsely accused of vandalizing a police car. Ironically, the person she suspects is Lisa’s former colleague, DI Costello, who once “buried” evidence from the accident years ago.

In addition, Lisa – who is in a relationship with Carla Connor – falls into a state of chaos. Carla does not know that Becky is still alive, but Lisa is afraid that if Carla finds out, everything will fall apart. Having to face her ex-wife who has come back to life while hiding her new lover, Lisa is pulled into a spiral with no way out.
The ending scene of the episode is when Becky gives Lisa a USB, whispering: “This is the whole truth, but once you open it, there is no way back.” A promise, a threat – and the audience can only hold their breath waiting.
