This week’s Paulina and Chanel story promises to be the most emotionally charged. As rumors of the DiMera shooting spread, a mysterious memory card falls into Paulina’s hands – and inside may be a video that makes Chanel the prime suspect.

The spoiler scene shows Paulina frozen at the sight of her daughter appearing at the crime scene – right at the moment EJ was injured.

Cornered, Paulina is torn between two paths: handing over the evidence to the police or hiding it to protect her.

In a painful moment, she whispers: “If I do the right thing, my daughter will lose everything.

If I hide it, I will lose myself.” But things get even more complicated when Abe Carver, her husband, discovers she’s holding the evidence. Abe is furious, claiming that Paulina “is making the same mistake as before – trading justice for family.”

The drama reaches its climax when Chanel overhears her parents arguing. Instead of staying silent, she turns herself in, declaring, “I’m not afraid, because I didn’t do anything wrong.” Her brave act leaves Paulina devastated, both proud and hurt. But the real twist comes when the police analyze the video – and discover that someone edited it. Another hand intervenes, making Chanel the scapegoat.

Spoilers hint that EJ DiMera himself may have been behind it, in order to hide the real shooter. Paulina knows, but stays silent. Finally, she looks out the window of Salem, tears falling: “I just wanted to save my child, but maybe I dragged him down deeper.”

If this is true, Days of Our Lives is preparing for its biggest “turnaround” of the season, where Paulina – the strong mother – will have to face the cruel truth: sometimes love can kill.
