In the latest episode, Theo Silverton proves that his manipulative skills have never waned.

After assaulting Todd Grimshaw with insulting words and forcing him to eat kebab, Theo continues to try to regain Todd’s trust through elaborate tricks.

He brings “unfinished” gifts and tells Billy Mayhew that he is going to therapy, hoping Todd won’t know.

However, Todd quickly learns the truth from Billy.

Initially, Todd is touched to hear that Theo has tried to seek help, but things are quickly disillusioned when the truth is revealed that Theo has never been to therapy. Instead, he and Gary Windass roam the streets and maintain a “nice” image to win Todd back.

Theo’s trickery continues as he convinces Todd that he has sacrificed his family and everything for the relationship, apologizing for his previous bad behavior. Todd, while admitting some of his own fault, gradually softens to Theo’s psychological tactics. The scene ends with George Shuttleworth witnessing the couple kissing, thinking that everything is okay. However, viewers know that this is just Theo’s elaborate mask, signaling the troubles, conflicts, and tensions that will continue in the following episodes.
