This week, EJ DiMera has left viewers both angry and intrigued by his attempt to “butter up” Belle — flirting and scheming.

Belle is smart and rational, but EJ knows how to throw her off balance.

He walks into the office, bearing flowers and a charming smile: “I just want to apologize for what happened.”

But EJ’s eyes are not of a repentant person — they are of a calculating person.
