If the DiMera family is the center of power in Salem, then Leo Stark is the “little fuse” that is causing all the secrets to leak out.

Always a meddlesome person, Leo went too far this week when he tried to probe the blackout and the secret dealings between EJ and Mark.

Leo sneaked into the DiMera office with a hidden recorder in his pocket.

He believed that if he found evidence, he could “change his life”.

But in Days of Our Lives, ambition always comes with a price. While he was rummaging around, Leo was caught by Rita Lesley – EJ’s assistant. The scene not only made him pale but also started a chain of troubles with no way out. Rita coldly said: “You are digging your own grave, Leo.”

Not stopping there, Leo continued to try to get information from Jeremy Horton, whom he suspected of being EJ’s “spy”. But Jeremy refuses, warning: “Don’t mess with DiMera if you want to live.” Of course, Leo ignores it. He sends the leaked recording to the newspaper – but before it reaches the editor, the USB disappears. Rumors spread that Mark Greene – who was in prison – secretly retrieved it.

And just when Leo thinks he’s safe, he’s called to the Woolpack. There, EJ, Mark, and Rita are already there. EJ smiles: “You think you’re smart?” Leo replies, trying to maintain his composure: “I’m just looking for justice.” EJ leans in: “Justice? In Salem, justice is something the weak demand.”

The scene ends with Leo being forced to sign a non-disclosure agreement. His hands are shaking, sweat pouring out. But at the last minute, he glances at the recording pen hidden in his pocket – still playing. Leo may have lost now, but he’s clearly not done yet.

Leo’s recklessness makes him a target for both the DiMera faction and the anti-DiMera faction, who want to kill him, and the anti-DiMera faction, who are trying to use him. Next episode, Leo may be the “keyholder” to the biggest scandal in Salem this year. The only question is – once the secret is out, will he live to see it?
