No one expected that a normal morning at Titan Industries would turn into the darkest day in Xander Cook’s life.

He used to be the pillar – a strong, ambitious man, always maintaining a perfect image in front of Sarah Horton and Mrs. Maggie Kiriakis.

But just one small mistake, one lie discovered, everything collapsed like dominoes.

It all started when Maggie discovered shady expenses in Titan’s accounting books – directly related to Xander.

She did not say anything right away, just invited Sarah to “talk about family”. In the Titan conference room, Sarah suddenly stood up and threw the printout on the table, her voice trembling: “How long have you been hiding it from me?” The whole company was silent. Xander raised his head, trying to stay calm, but Sarah’s eyes were filled with tears.

Maggie said softly: “Son, Titan needs honesty, not tricks.” Xander replied, his voice choked: “I’m just trying to keep things okay.” But Sarah didn’t believe it anymore. She looked straight at him: “Is it okay? When you’re turning into someone you’re afraid of?”
The climax: Sarah bursts into tears, throws her wedding ring on the table – the metal ringing coldly. Xander sits motionless, and Maggie leaves in silence. The camera zooms in on his face – his eyes are empty, his smile is forced.

The episode ends with Xander alone in Titan’s office, the lights dimmed, the only light left is from the photo of him and Sarah on their wedding day. A once-arrogant man now sits with his head down, realizing that everything is leaving him.
The audience will definitely have a heart attack with this scene – not only because Xander failed, but because he still tried to hold on, tried not to cry… until there was no one left.
