The normally peaceful Dales village is now in turmoil when Robert Sugden announces his secret wedding to a new lover – a man named Kev, who was once his cellmate.

This news spread like wildfire, making the people of Emmerdale restless, and the most shocked person is none other than Aaron Dingle, Robert’s deepest love and also the greatest pain in his life.

The initial scene is like a dream: a long lawn, a small tent set up under the afternoon sun, Robert standing in a black suit, Kev smiling beside him.

Everything seems to end happily for the man who once fell in sin.

But in true Emmerdale style – “joy only lasts the first 3 minutes”, because just a few moments later, Aaron appears in the middle of the wedding.
