The drama in Salem is getting more and more intense when Xander Kiriakis decides to strike back.

After discovering that Maggie is planning to “kick” him out of Titan, he no longer maintains the image of a good nephew.

The episode opens with Xander drinking whiskey alone in the Titan office, his eyes cold as steel: “If they want to play, I will make them lose badly.”

Surprisingly, Xander does not choose violence – which he is used to – but switches to a soft strategy.

He quietly approaches Brady Black, Victor’s nephew, who always appears to stay out of trouble. Xander says bluntly: “Brady, do you think Maggie trusts you? She’s just using you as a cover.”
Brady is surprised, but Xander’s eyes are too sincere to ignore. A few episodes later, Brady begins to investigate, and it’s true: Maggie has prepared a contract to transfer Titan to her name, but with Brady’s signature to cover the council’s eyes.

The situation turns around. Brady is angry and goes to confront Maggie. She remains calm and even smiles:

“If you really want to save Titan, you have to get your hands dirty. I’m just doing what Victor taught me.”

That statement shocks Brady. Meanwhile, Xander takes the opportunity to reveal to the press that “Maggie Kiriakis is manipulating Titan behind the family’s back”. The news spreads and Titan’s stock price plummets, forcing Maggie to temporarily step down from the executive chair.

But life is never that easy – because right at the end of the episode, Xander receives an anonymous envelope with a photo of him and Philip secretly shaking hands. Someone is watching, and it could very well be Maggie.

Fan Days is buzzing: is Xander being too confident? Because one wrong move, he could become a literal pawn – played back by “boss” Maggie in a moment.
