Emmerdale Spoiler: ROBERT SUGDEN CONFESSES HIS BLACK SECRET – PRISON LOVE TURNS TO A DREAM!
After the failed wedding, Emmerdale was plunged into crisis. Robert Sugden – once considered the “charming bad boy” of the village – was now the focus of criticism.
But instead of hiding, Robert came out and admitted it all in a shocking interview at the Woolpack pub.
He frankly said: “I married Kev in prison.
At that time, I was desperate, lonely and needed someone.
But I was wrong, because I was just trying to replace Aaron.”
The confession left the villagers speechless. Kev – the man Robert called “husband” – angrily left, while Aaron just stood from afar and watched. His reaction was not hatred, but a mixture of pain and pity.
Little by little, Robert’s past was revealed. In prison, he met Kev – a famous smuggler who had saved him from an attack. Amidst the isolation, fear and darkness, Robert developed what he called “love” – but in reality, it was a form of dependence. Kev controlled Robert with power, with promises, and with the fear of abandonment.

When released from prison, Robert wanted to end it, but Kev threatened to reveal all his secrets if he did not marry him officially. And so Robert bowed his head – until Aaron discovered everything.
This is no longer a simple love drama, but a psychological tragedy: when people trade freedom for the illusion of being loved. Emmerdale fans are divided into two sides: one side sympathizes with Robert because he was hurt, the other hates him because he is deceitful and selfish.
