While Aaron is struggling with his own nightmare, Stephanie Johnson chooses Halloween night to reveal the biggest secret of her life.

In the middle of a fancy dress party at the Horton Hotel, everyone is laughing, the music is playing, and Stephanie – in a black lace dress, wearing a silver mask – steps onto the stage.

“I have something to say,” she says, causing the entire audience to fall silent.

She takes off her mask, the lights shine on her pale face, her lips trembling.

“I am not Stephanie Johnson. I am Anastasia Sands.” The air freezes. Someone drops a glass, the sound of glass shattering echoes through the hall. All eyes turn to her – the one who has just announced her true identity after years of living in disguise.

The story revolves around Stephanie – or rather, Anastasia – who disappeared from Salem many years ago in an accident suspected to be related to the Horton family. She returns as Stephanie to hide her identity, to investigate who harmed her. But in this episode, she decides to let go of the mask and accept the consequences. “I can’t keep living a lie,” she says, tears falling but her voice firm.

The whispers begin to rise: “Anastasia Sands… isn’t she the one who was convicted of forgery?” “She’s back for revenge!” Everything is chaotic, the lights flash, and in a flash – a strange man in the corner of the hall smiles coldly, pulls out his phone, and records the moment. Unbeknownst to Stephanie, her actions have triggered a chain of events that has thrown all of Salem into chaos.

As the episode ends, the camera slows down, Stephanie looks in the mirror, sighs, and says softly: “Tonight, my mask falls… but who will take theirs off?”
