A seemingly normal evening at The Rovers Return Inn becomes the center of an emotional storm.

Lisa Swain — a model policewoman, engaged to Carla Connor — is suddenly confronted with the past when Becky Swain appears.

Becky, the ex-wife who faked her death four years ago, returns with a look of unspoken meaning in her eyes.

No one expected that when Becky played the old wedding song, the room would freeze.

Lisa was stunned, running into the bathroom to escape the memories. But Becky followed, stopped her, looked straight into her eyes and said: “We were happy.” Then she leaned in, kissed Lisa in a moment of half-drunk, half-sober. A brief kiss but turned everything upside down.

Lisa pushed Becky away, panicked: “I love Carla.” That trembling sentence was not enough to erase the truth: her heart had not closed to her ex.
