As the shooting drama unfolds, two seemingly unrelated women – Marlena Evans and Paulina Price – are the ones who hold the key.

Both are haunted by unresolved memories: old cases, traumatized children, and secrets that have never been told.

According to Koimoi, Paulina meets Marlena at Horton Square, carrying an old letter – written by Kate Roberts before her death.

In the letter, Kate reveals that a member of the DiMera family once hired someone to “stage” the accident to cover up her guilt.

Marlena reads the letter, her hands shaking: “If this is true, then EJ’s shooting was just the tip of the iceberg.”
