Salem was filled with emotion this week when Johnny DiMera and Chanel Dupree officially welcomed baby Tesoro home after months of waiting.

They called it “Adoption Day” – a day that changed their lives, but no one expected that behind that joy were tears from others.

The opening scene made everyone choke up: Johnny holding Chanel’s hand, walking into the adoption office to the applause of friends and family.
