When all the events come together, Salem is like a chaotic picture: Johnny – Chanel is happy to have a child,

Leo – Javi is sad because he lost his child, Tate – Holly broke up, Brady – Rachel is broken.

All of this happened in the same week – making the audience both breathless and sympathetic.

On the last night of the week, the scene of Johnny and Chanel putting baby Tesoro to sleep is interspersed with the scene of Leo blowing out the candle,

Tate looking at Holly’s “seen” message, and Brady standing in front of Rachel’s room door.

The sequence of images is connected by a sad piano song – “Days of our Lives” as if saying: every joy must be paid for with a little loss.

Paulina ends the episode with a haunting line: “Tomorrow, everyone will have to learn to live with their choices.”
Salem is peaceful again, but everyone knows – it is only temporary peace before a new storm comes.
