Gwen, while secretly spying on Leo, overhears a call between EJ and Chad, in which EJ says, “You have to make Jennifer lose trust. That’s the first step.”

Gwen understands that EJ is manipulating people – but if she reveals it, she’ll be exposed.

At the same time, Abe discovers evidence that EJ forged Theo’s contract and confronts her – leaving Gwen unwittingly trapped in the room with them.

The scene is elaborate: three people, three secrets, one enclosed space. Abe yells, “You’re destroying my family!” – EJ replies, “I’m teaching you how to protect it.” Gwen stands in the middle, trembling, the phone falling to the ground with a clicking sound.

A second later, EJ turns around: “What did you just do?” – his eyes are like knives cutting.

This scene is expected to end with Gwen fleeing, carrying the recording filled with DiMera guilt, and EJ declaring: “Does she think she’s smarter than me?” – signaling a new hunt.

As intrigue and emotion intertwine, Salem becomes a bloody chessboard. And for the first time, Gwen may be the only pawn brave enough to challenge the DiMera king.
