Coronation Street Spoiler: Carl is revealed to be a “love killer” – having an affair with Abi, saying the wrong thing to Tracy and the shock in room 101

Carl is revealed to be a “love killer” – having an affair with Abi, saying the wrong thing to Tracy and the shock in room 101

If Lisa and Sarah’s story makes the audience tense, Carl brings a color that is both humorous and tragic.

His womanizing nature continues to cause trouble when he gets involved with Abi and Tracy at the same time.

In a joking conversation, Carl accidentally reveals that he is in room 101 at Debbie’s hotel.

Tracy hears it and smiles mysteriously, while Abi accidentally catches that sentence. Suspicions arise immediately. To cover up, Carl hastily explains that he is just “misleading” to protect his affair with Abi.

To prove his words, Carl and Abi make an appointment to meet at the hotel. But ironically, when Carl enters room 101, the person he sees is not Abi but… Tracy. That unexpected scene left Carl speechless, standing in an unprecedented dilemma. If Abi stepped in at this moment, all secrets would go up in smoke.

Carl was confident in his ability to “turn things around”, but this time, it was his subjectivity that put him in danger. In Tracy’s eyes, this was an opportunity to seize control; and if Abi knew she was being deceived, she would definitely not let it go. The audience was both amused by the awkward situation and anxiously waiting to see how Carl would manage to escape the love matrix he had created.

This is the special point of Days of our Lives: each character carries within him a “time bomb”, and Carl, with his womanizing nature, has turned his life into a dramatic tragicomedy.
