Coronation Street Spoiler: Will Taylor and the darkness that consumes him: guilt, lies, and a breathtaking comeback
Will Taylor has always been a calm person – the kind of person you think “he’s fine”, until his true darkness emerges.
This week’s episode opens with Will waking up in the middle of the night, drenched in sweat, having a recurring dream about a past he tried to forget.
Viewers gradually realize: what’s haunting him isn’t a dream, but an unforgivable truth.
The incident begins when a stranger appears in the Street – someone who knows all too well what Will has done.

No one knows who he is, only that he always stands far away, watching, and every time Will passes by, his eyes burn the air. Will’s every move becomes unstable: he lies to friends, avoids family, and begins to hear “footsteps” behind him even when no one is there. A series of strange actions has the whole neighborhood buzzing: “Is Will hiding something?”

Then one day, an anonymous letter appears in Will’s mailbox. Inside are just a few words: “I know what you did.” No need to go into detail, just that is enough to make Will collapse. He begins to dig up what he had hidden, trying to find a way to “erase” the traces, but the more he erases, the more it is exposed. The scene of him running out into the rain, his hand clutching a wet piece of paper, his mouth muttering “It can’t be…” makes the audience’s skin crawl.
