The week’s finale opens with smoke, flashing lights, and screams. Sami and Dante’s engagement party turns into hell.

Three shots ring out in quick succession.

When the smoke clears, Rafe is collapsed, Dante is gone, and Cat is nowhere to be seen.

Sami stands in the middle of the devastation, her dress torn, her hands bloody, her mouth repeating, “I didn’t want this.”

The police storm in. EJ hugs Marlena, and Roman looks at his daughter with a mixture of pity and disappointment. In a dark corner, a ring falls to the floor – engraved with the letters DV.

The episode ends with a quick cut: Dante opens his eyes in the truck, his hands tied; Cat sits beside him, smiling devilishly: “The game has just begun.” Meanwhile, in Salem, Rafe is in the ER – his heart stopped for a few seconds. Sami looked up at the sky and whispered, “If love is a sin, then I have sinned too much.”

After that night, Salem changed forever. Lovers became enemies, victims became perpetrators, and power became a curse.
