After a long absence, Sami Brady returns to Salem with an unexpected energy.

She plans a grand baby shower for Johnny DiMera and Chanel Dupree, to celebrate their newly adopted child – Trey.

It seems like a warm reunion, but if you are a long-time fan, you know: when Sami shows up, drama is bound to happen.

The party takes place at the DiMera house, filled with white flowers, cake, gifts, laughter… but mixed in with that is Johnny’s worried eyes.

He seems to sense that his mother is not simply “happy” but has other intentions. While everyone smiles, Marlena and EJ watch each other nervously – because they know there is something unsaid.

Sami, in a pastel blue dress, said, “Family is where all mistakes can be forgiven.” The words seemed gentle, but made EJ pause. Was Sami hinting at some secret between them?
