Salem has always had its share of “unexpectedly good” couples.

But Cat Greene and Leo Stark are an upgraded version of that trope: two smart, slippery, liars who can lie like they breathe—yet they’re caught up in their biggest conflict yet.

Cat is gathering evidence about an underground lab she believes is linked to the dark power group behind EJ DiMera.

Meanwhile, Leo—who supposedly is an ally—serves a different faction, one that wants to control information rather than expose it.

The two enter the lab in the middle of the night, armed only with a flashlight and leaked files.

The conflict explodes when Cat finds a document with the logo “Lazarus-Project.” Leo immediately snatched the file from her hand, shouting: “You don’t understand this! If it gets out, Salem will sink!” Cat looked at Leo, stunned: “Who are you protecting?”
