Jack Deveraux isn’t exactly a troublemaker, but once he puts the pieces together, Salem is going to shake.

And this week, it’s Jack who discovers the common thread in all the drama: it all leads back to the same guy.

Using a whiteboard and a yellow highlighter, Jack connects the dots:

– Marlena is being stalked.

– Will has the Lazarus-Project files.
– Cat & Leo break into the lab.
– Kristen is kidnapped.
– Xander disappears.

And after he’s done, Jack tells Jennifer: “It’s all in a web. One person is behind it all.”

Jennifer tries to calm down, but as she leaves the house, a masked man stops her and whispers:

“Stop investigating. Otherwise… the next person to disappear will be your husband.”

The scene ends with Jack’s face as he learns that Jennifer has been threatened — and Salem is about to enter its darkest chapter of the year.
