While the Dales village is in an uproar over the failed wedding, another plot line makes the audience breathless: April is rushing into a dangerous spiral.

At the car park, April appears to carry out a drug deal.

Before she can exchange, she is discovered by Swirling – a patrol police officer.

Frantically trying to hide, April makes up an excuse to escape.

Rhona later sees her being taken home, her eyes full of suspicion, but April just makes up an excuse to cover it up.

The storm becomes more intense when Ray – the mastermind – begins to doubt April’s ability to keep a secret. Dylan tries to reassure his girlfriend, but that blind trust makes April even more guilty. In a confrontation, she stands straight in front of Ray and shouts: “When will this debt end?” Ray smirks: “I just need you to come with me.”

The scene ends with Ray coldly dragging April into the car in the dark, leaving Dylan standing there, dumbfounded. The audience is stunned: What will happen to April under the hands of this dangerous man?
