The drama reaches its peak in the final post of this arc: all the secrets, jealousy, and lies come together in an emotional explosion that will have Days of Our Lives fans “sitting up straight.”

At the front of the line, EJ comes to Cat and says:

“We have to be careful. Chad is watching.”

Cat bursts into tears from exhaustion:

“I don’t want to lose anyone!”
That statement shows that Cat hasn’t chosen a side yet – and that hurts the two men even more.

Meanwhile, Chad – who is standing outside – overhears part of the conversation. He almost collapses. He doesn’t scream, doesn’t speak, just stands there, clutching his hand until it bleeds.

The next spoiler reveals: Julie will be the one forced to take sides. And fans are shocked to hear: Julie chooses Jennifer and Chad over EJ. This creates a huge divide in the Salem community.

At a DiMera family meeting, EJ tries to explain that things “aren’t what Chad thinks.” Chad snaps back:
“If you didn’t betray me, why hide it?”
EJ doesn’t answer.
Cat stands in the middle, her eyes red, not daring to look at anyone.

The final scene leads to the cliffhanger of the arc:
EJ tells Cat that he’s willing to give up “everything” if she chooses him.
