The new week of Days of our Lives opens with a love story that has Salem talking: Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) are finally together.

After months of just being friends and joking around, the two have stopped hiding.

They show up holding hands, making Felicity (Kennedy Garcia) and Thomas (Cary Christopher) happy, but at the same time sparking a wave of protests from many people.

Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) have just returned home to face shocking news: their ex-son-in-law is dating a new woman.

The couple is shocked and discusses their concerns with worry. Cat feels pressured and is forced to apologize to Chad for fear that she will drag him into trouble.

Not stopping there, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) also openly expressed his doubts: “Chad’s feelings for Cat are just a way to fill a void.” These sarcastic comments angered Chad, but also sowed insecurity in his heart.
