If the marriage drama has left Laurel shaken, then the incident at Rishi’s bar is the second blow that has left Laurel nearly exhausted — and made Jai angrier than ever.

Bear, in a moment of lack of control, accidentally caused the incident that caused Laurel to collapse in front of many people.

Bear has been mentally haunted, confused and unstable lately — but no one thought that would lead him to accidentally cause trouble for Laurel.

In this week’s dramatic scene, Laurel is trying to calm Bear down when he suddenly throws a tantrum, knocking over furniture.

Laurel accidentally trips and falls hard on the edge of a table. The physical pain is only part of it — what shocked the audience more was Laurel’s bewildered look as she tried to call Jai, but couldn’t say a word.

Jai appeared soon after and the scene before him made him explode: Laurel lying motionless, Bear standing panicked over, his hands shaking. Without thinking, Jai rushes forward, angrily shouting:
“Bear! What have you done?”

Bear tries to explain but Jai can’t listen. All the old trauma – Rishi’s death, the current stress – causes Jai to lose control and Bear becomes the trigger point.

The scene that makes the audience choke is the moment Laurel holds Jai’s hand and whispers: “Don’t do anything stupid.”
Her eyes are worried for Jai and Bear. This makes Jai’s heart ache: even though she is the victim, Laurel still thinks of others before herself.
