Coronation Street Spoiler: Tracy silences Carl, flower shop vandalised – power play takes a dangerous turn
Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) proves she’s still Coronation Street’s drama queen.
Next week, Tracy continues to push Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) into a corner by demanding the rest of the hush money.
Carl, already on edge after the car theft, just wants it all to end.
He says he’ll give him another £500 and call it a day, but Tracy isn’t one to be led astray.
“I make the rules,” she haughtily replies, leaving Abi Webster (Sally Carman) worried that things could get messy.
Abi even suggests Carl confess to his affair with Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell), but Carl is adamant. He believes that if they keep quiet, Tracy won’t dare do anything. The question is: is this a wise move, or is it a trap that will send them both spiralling into the abyss?
As tensions escalate, an unexpected event occurs: Tracy’s flower shop is broken into by a masked man. Flower pots are thrown to the ground, furniture is broken. Tracy stands still, her eyes filled with panic. Is this a warning from Carl, or another mysterious enemy?
While Tracy and Carl confront each other, Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) still keeps an eye on Carl. He implicitly warns that he will monitor every step, making Carl feel like he is being trapped. At the same time, Abi is uneasy when she suspects that the car that caused the Tyrone accident is related to Fiona. Carl quickly denies it and secretly meets Fiona to discuss, even confessing to burning the car to erase the traces. But at that moment, Kit appears, questioning: “What are you doing here with a notorious criminal?”. The truth is about to be revealed.
Along with the hidden plots, Theo Silverton’s (James Cartwright) storyline is also getting more tense. He worries that the messy apartment will be deemed unfit for child support by the court. When he returns, he is surprised to find Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce), Billy, George and Brian cleaning up together, even throwing a small party. The scene is both hilarious and full of hidden meaning: is it enough to prove that the family love is still there, or is it just a fragile shell before the legal storm?
Tracy, Carl, Abi – three people, three calculations – are playing a dangerous game of power. And this time, it seems that no one will leave the fight without paying a heavy price.
