Emmerdale Spoiler: Robert arrested for attempted murder, Mackenzie still imprisoned in the dungeon

If the audience thought all the drama had been focused on the cliff incident, Emmerdale had more surprises.

At the end of episode 10/9, Robert Sugden became the center of attention when he was arrested by the police right in front of the hospital.

Many people believed that he was the one who “pushed” John and Aaron out of jealousy.

Although Robert tried to explain himself, his teary eyes only made others more suspicious.

In the interrogation room, Robert kept repeating: “I just wanted to save Aaron. It was John who pulled him down!”. But those words became meaningless when there were no witnesses on his side. The only person who could free Robert was Aaron – but he was still in a deep coma.

At the same time, the scriptwriter cleverly brought the audience back to a forgotten subplot: Mackenzie Boyd. He was still chained in the secret basement in the forest where John had been imprisoned. No one knows if Mack is alive or has collapsed. His weak cry for help echoes in the cold darkness, but no one hears it. This is the “time bomb” that Emmerdale is preparing for the next episodes: if Mack is saved, he can become a witness to overturn the entire case.

Meanwhile, John – the one who should pay the price – lies peacefully in the treatment room, receiving attentive care. The image of him opening his eyes weakly, while Robert is being led in chains, has caused the audience to explode in anger on social networks. Some fans even commented: “This is no longer a drama, this is blatant injustice!”.

With Aaron still unconscious, Mack still abandoned, Robert wrongly accused and John escaping death, Emmerdale has set a dangerous emotional trap. Viewers can only wait now: will the truth be revealed, or will the darkness continue to engulf the whole village of Emmerdale?
