Days Of Our Lives Spoiler: EJ DIAMERA is hit by memories – Brady sends Rachel to a mental hospital, a series of Salem families are broken in a dark week
Along with the attack on Stephanie, another storm is brewing in Salem — this time revolving around EJ DiMera, a powerful but dangerous man with buried memories.
And this week, December 1–5, EJ’s past doesn’t just return — it brings with it a secret that can destroy the entire DiMera family.
The story begins when EJ accidentally picks up the book Wuthering Heights.
As soon as he opens the first page, EJ stops.

The sound of wind, footsteps, the image of a dark room — all rush into his mind like a memory he once tried to forget. At that moment, Catina “Cat” DiMera appears, looking at EJ with a look that is half sympathy, half challenge. Spoilers confirm that Cat will “detonate” EJ’s memories, pulling him into a violent mental storm.
EJ begins having terrifying dreams: a girl screaming, bloody hands, and his name being called out in desperation. Some fans speculate that the memory is related to an unsolved missing person case. If EJ ever witnesses it — or is involved — the consequences could be dire.
Elsewhere, Brady Black has to take his daughter Rachel to Bayview, a strict psychiatric facility. The scene where Rachel hugs Brady and cries, pleading “don’t leave me,” was spoiled as one of the most heartbreaking scenes of the week. Brady chokes out, “I did this to save you,” but his eyes betray his helplessness.
This puts a huge strain on Brady and Chloe Lane’s relationship. Chloe believes Brady is doing the right thing — and Kristen DiMera explodes when she hears the news. Kristen rushes into the hospital, demanding to take Rachel home. The two of them scream, and the doctor has to intervene. Brady is devastated — but he signs the paperwork for Rachel.

This is a week where Salem seems to be in a fog: broken love, broken families, painful decisions forced to be made.
In addition, the DiMera side is even more chaotic when Cat suddenly has an ambiguous attitude. She tells EJ: “There are things you need to remember. And there are things… if you remember, there is no turning back.” This line has the DOOL fan community in an uproar, because it implies that Cat holds the key to unlocking EJ’s darkest secret.
Not only EJ, but Salem will be caught up in it if the truth is revealed.
Tensions rise when EJ smashes the cup in her hand, screaming: “What did I do? What did I do?” Cat stands there watching EJ explode, but her eyes show… satisfaction. Is Cat helping or controlling EJ for another plan?
The episode ends with two parallel images: Rachel being taken to the treatment room, crying out Brady’s name; EJ sits alone in the dark, hands covering his face, breathing heavily, as screams from the past echo in his head.
Salem has never been darker — and this week is just the beginning.
